Joan Miro (1893-1983) - Ceramic, Miró Artigas n.378

Very rare polychrome glazed terracotta ceramic, made at the Miró–Artigas atelier. Edition numbered 263/500 on the back and bearing the impressed mark MIRÓ–ARTIGAS.

This ceramic belongs to the famous limited edition of 500 pieces, created from the original ceramic work by Joan Miró executed with Josep Llorens Artigas, published in the Catalogue Raisonné of the artist’s ceramic oeuvre no. 378.

Conditions: The work presents in excellent condition. The glazed surface retains fully its brilliance and uniformity. The terracotta shows light darkening on the lower side, due to the natural firing process and the age of the piece. There are also minimal signs of time, fully compatible with the era and nature of the work. The photographs are an integral part of the description and faithfully document the conservation status of the work.
