Lorenzo Quinn’s Serenidad, a resin sculpture with a glass top and base, edition 288/300 signed by the artist, from Spain, measuring 46 cm high, 43 cm wide, 78 cm deep and weighing 50 kg in good condition.
Description from the seller
Lorenzo Quinn (1966) – Serenity – Sculpture / Table – Limited edition and signed
Sculpture “Serenity”, work by the renowned artist Lorenzo Quinn (1966), belonging to a limited edition and signed by the artist.
It is a sculpture conceived also as a sculptural table, in which the hands constitute the central element of the composition and support a large glass top.
The piece presents a finish in dark bronze with patina, preserved in very good condition.
Important note about the version offered in this auction:
The piece that the buyer will receive is exactly the version shown in the main photograph. It is a special version made with a marble base and mirror, conceived to also allow viewing the sculpture and the hands from its underside through the reflection.
This particular configuration constitutes an exclusive version by the artist.
Some of the additional photographs show, purely for information and reference, another configuration of the same work with a base consisting exclusively of marble. These images serve to appreciate the sculpture from other viewpoints, but that is not the version included in the lot. The only difference between the two configurations is in the foot/base.
Version included in the auction:
marble base with mirror, as shown in the main photograph.
The top crystal is included, with rounded corners.
Due to weight, dimensions and the special nature of the work, shipping will be carried out with special care. The sculpture will be shipped on a wooden pallet, perfectly protected, with insurance and tracking.
The crystal requires specific protection due to its dimensions and weight. Once the auction ends, the buyer will be contacted to coordinate the safest and most suitable transport option according to the destination country.
A particularly striking piece by Lorenzo Quinn, where sculpture, reflection and functionality integrate in a single work.
