Splendid and rare collectible S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 lighter, belonging to the prestigious Limited Edition "Art Nouveau" released in 1993.
This model was produced in only 4,000 numbered pieces worldwide; the piece for sale is number 0672 / 4000.
Main features:
Materials: Solid brass body with yellow gold finish and plating.
Decoration:
Splendid geometric and sinuous inlays in precious and authentic black Chinese lacquer (Laque de Chine), certified by the hallmark with the leaf on the base.
Design:
Elegant lines inspired by the Art Nouveau movement of the late 19th century.
Authenticity guaranteed:
All marks and serial numbers are hand-engraved on the bottom (not laser), as a testimony to authenticity and to the original French craftsmanship (Made in France).
Condition:
The lighter is perfectly functional and features the classic crisp "cling" sound when the cap is opened. Aesthetically it is in generally excellent condition, with slight signs of wear due to age that do not compromise its beauty (the lacquer and plating are intact, see detailed photos).
