S.T. Dupont – Ligne 2 Silver-Plated Lighter, Vertical Lines Guilloché – Original Box – 1970s

An early S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 gas lighter from the 1970s, finished in silver plate with the house's classic vertical line guilloché. The Ligne 2 was introduced in 1973 and became Dupont's most iconic lighter, famous for the distinctive "cling" of its lid and its solid feel in the hand.

The base is engraved "S.T. Dupont Paris – Made in France", with the maker's hallmark, the individual serial number and the central gas refill valve. It comes in its original brown S.T. Dupont de Paris presentation box with the cream fabric insert, together with the original international service centre booklet dated 1 January 1974, which places the lighter among the first years of Ligne 2 production.
