S.T. Dupont – Ligne 2 Silver-Plated Lighter, Horizontal Lines Guilloché – 1970s

A vintage S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 gas lighter, finished in silver plate with the house's classic horizontal line guilloché running the full height of the body. Introduced in 1973, the Ligne 2 became Dupont's most iconic lighter, known for the distinctive "cling" of its lid and its solid, reassuring weight in the hand.

The base is engraved "S.T. Dupont Paris – Made in France", with the maker's hallmark, the central gas refill valve and the individual serial number 1BGBA50.

Condition: good vintage condition, consistent with age and regular use. Tested and working: it lights reliably and produces a clean, steady flame, as shown in the photos. The body carries light surface scratches and a natural patina from handling, most visible on the base and around the lid, and the lid closes with the correct positive click. It is sold without box or papers.
