Very beautiful and very large work by Christian Dotremont, one of the masters of the Cobra movement, notably with Pierre Alechinsky. 

Signature on the plate

On the back, Christian Dotremont's brother (Guy Dotremont) countersigned the work. The signature is intact. 

This is the artist's proof numbered XVII/XXV

This series was exhibited by Galerie Samuel Van Hoegarden of Knokke (Belgium) in 2007.
