Title: Floral Realms IV
Floral Realms IV is a vibrant original expressive acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary artist Kirsty Wain. As the fourth artwork in her signature Floral Realms series, this piece captures an uplifting, meadow-like scene filled with tall, reaching foxglove-style spires and cheerful rounded blooms. Wain employs a energetic combination of gestural brushwork, thick impasto application, and spontaneous paint splatters, set against a rich backdrop of sky blues, turquoise, and deep emerald greens. About the Artist
Kirsty Wain is a British painter currently living and working in Spain. Deeply connected to the Mediterranean landscape, her work offers an expressive, emotive interpretation of the surrounding environment. Drawing strong inspiration from Post-Impressionism and the bold colour theory of Fauvism, Wain uses vibrant hues, textured application, and fluid line work to capture the intrinsic energy, spirit, and light of a location. Her paintings, frequently focused on ancient olive groves, hillside pines, and sweeping terrains—seek to translate fleeting personal moments and deep emotional ties to place directly onto the canvas.
Wain’s distinct visual language continues to gain international visibility, and her paintings are held in private collections around the world.
´ I love colour. I love nature. I love art. Together, they are my language. ´ K Wain 2025
