"Le Reflet du Louvre" captures a single suspended moment in the courtyard of the Louvre, where a ballerina in a flowing emerald dress rises en pointe against the glass geometry of the Pyramid. Rain has turned the stone pavement into a mirror, doubling her figure and the architecture behind her in a trembling reflection that blurs the line between solid ground and open sky.

Her arms are extended upward and outward, her back arched, her face lifted with closed eyes as the fabric of her dress unfolds around her like a wave caught mid-break. She dances for no audience. The courtyard is empty, the light is fading, and the warm glow from inside the Pyramid is the only sign of life beyond her own movement. The wet surface beneath her pointe shoe holds her reflection with the same care that a canvas holds paint.

The composition is rendered with a painterly texture that softens the edges of the architecture and lets the brushwork carry as much weight as the subject, placing the scene somewhere between observed reality and remembered sensation.
