Title: Late Summer Light
Dimensions: 70 x 60 cm
Year: 2025
Eva Villa is an Italian painter who works mainly with oil painting. Her research focuses on the relationship between body, water and light, depicting figures immersed in aquatic environments suspended between realism and dreamlike suggestion. Through reflections, bubbles and color distortions, the artist transforms the body into a fluid and sensitive presence, where water becomes a living matter capable of modifying perception and amplifying emotion. Her works tell intimate and silent moments, threaded with color, movement and lightness.
NB: The work will be shipped in a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, artworks are more beautiful than in photography: you can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
