In “Bosque Ingrávido”, the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes the stage of the unlikely: a forest that does not hold to the laws of physics, but to the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to question the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series raises essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature?
