The elegant wooden presentation box contains a fountain pen, a bottle of ink, a notebook with white parchment sheets and a wax seal with the Delta logo, and a warranty certificate. This is a beautiful fountain pen from the famous Delta Pen company, in a numbered limited edition; only 70 pieces were produced. The pen uses a side-lever filling mechanism. Dedicated to the Colosseum (Flavian Amphitheatre), from 70 A.D. to 1996 A.D. The Colosseum Platinum Limited Edition is a writing object whose colors and shapes reproduce the splendor and elegance of the ancient Roman world. Produced in a limited edition of only 70 pieces worldwide. Reserved and distributed exclusively in Italy. Characterized by a central band in pure platinum 950‰. It bears a relief engraving of ivy, a symbol of tenacity and fidelity, clinging to the walls eroded by time as if guarding what mankind has accomplished most extraordinarily. The Delta artisans created this fountain pen with a BODY made of a special resin hand-turned from a solid colored bar in mother-of-pearl golden yellow and black. The nib is 750‰ gold with platinum decoration, decorated with a 16th-century Celtic-inspired design, personalized, elastic. The CLIP is made of special metal, particularly elastic, platinum-plated: it features a small wheel designed to facilitate slipping it into a pocket. Regarding the CAP, at its tip is applied the monogram. The section attaches to the converter by a strictly screwed connection with a triple-thread pitch. To achieve perfect alignment of lever/clip, insert the converter with the lever perfectly in line with the clip and turn clockwise. The TRUE CENTER section features a raised relief of ivy leaves, a distinctive ornamental element, in pure platinum 950‰. The LEVER is made of platinum-plated metal and bears the edition year engraved on it.
Ancient and fascinating filling system, easy to use, free from wear-prone components. This pen has never been used, a rare and highly sought-after collectible.
