Dimensions: 48 × 55.5 cm
Dimensions with frame: 50 × 57.5 cm
Year of creation: 2026

I provide Certificate of authenticity and ownership of the work
The work represents a half-figure bust of a full female figure seen from the back/side, painted on a collage of antique postcards and other scraps, such as sheet music or maps, which become an integral part of the composition.
The technique used favors dialogue between image and memory, transforming the support into a visual archive of stories and suggestions.
The figure emerges with delicacy thanks to a palette of sepia tones and natural earths, while the gathered hairstyle and the pose give a sense of intimacy and suspended time.
The only postcard visible from the illustration side shows an illustration of the Matterhorn.
The balance between contemporary figuration and vintage materials, between classical and modern, is the fruit of research that unites figuration and memory, designed for those who can appreciate not only the image but the value of detail and layering
( The work is set in a handmade frame created by the artist. I specify that it is not a professional frame, it mainly serves as protection and can be easily removed if you want to have the work framed by a framer.
In case of purchase, after payment you can add insurance to the shipment, at the additional cost of 3% of the sale price )
Shipping with a specialized express courier for transporting works of art.
The work can also be picked up at the artist's studio, in Rome.

BRIEF BIO
I have always drawn, since childhood. I approached painting in 2004, self-taught. In the first years I experimented with several techniques and themes. The female figure has always been present in my painting research, even though over the years I worked on other series of works, especially urban landscapes and scenes of anonymous crowds or individuals.
In 2015 I approached postal material from antiquity as a support for my works: letters, postcards, maps, letters and manuscripts, and the woman returned to be the exclusive protagonist of my painting.
For many years I have collaborated with numerous galleries, I exhibit in solo and group shows and regularly participate in art fairs.
Since 2014 I have a painting studio in Rome, in Trastevere.
In 2021, following the covid period, I conceived Marginalia, a home-made residency project in which I was hosted in a different house in each region of Italy, creating a painting in each residence. All the material produced was then displayed in Milan in November 2023 in a large solo show at the Fondazione Matalon and in Rome in 2025 at WeGil.
