Omega - Seamaster Diver 200M - 368.1062 - Men - 1988

We are offering a particularly interesting and rare specimen to find in this condition: the Omega Seamaster 200 Pre-Bond, reference 368.1062, equipped with the automatic Omega Cal. 1111 movement.

This is a piece that has always belonged to the same family and has been used exclusively on rare special occasions over the course of about forty years.

CONDITION FOR COLLECTORS

The watch presents itself in exceptional, collectible condition, with a preservation far beyond the norm for a timepiece of this era.

The case has never been polished, preserving its original finishes and the edges still very sharp. Also the dial, indices, hands, bezel, crystal, and bracelet show extraordinary preservation.

Particularly interesting is the early production configuration with Mercedes hands, a feature of the very earliest Seamaster 200 Pre-Bond models. Specialist documentation on the series distinguishes the first configurations with Mercedes hands from the later versions with sword hands.

MOVEMENT

The watch is fitted with the rare and sought-after Omega Cal. 1111, an automatic movement derived from the ETA 2892-2, used on the early automatic versions of the Seamaster 200 Pre-Bond.

The movement has been fully overhauled in July 2026 and is currently working perfectly.

Of particular interest to the collector is the perfect correspondence of the serial numbers: the number 49555371 on the movement matches the watch’s serial number and the one shown on the original documentation.

This is not the common used Seamaster 200 Pre-Bond, but an exceptionally preserved and wholly complete example with its original accessories.
