“The Two Ladies” is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García.

The work presents an intimate scene starring a woman dressed in red and a stylish black greyhound that remains seated beside her. The closeness between the two figures and the silent exchange established through their postures make the animal a true co-protagonist of the composition, giving meaning to the title of the work.
