A vintage Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print after Suzuki Harunobu, depicting a young child riding on horseback accompanied by an elegantly dressed woman holding a parasol. The composition is refined and graceful, with delicate linework, softly balanced colors, and decorative kimono details characteristic of Harunobu’s style.
This edition dates to 1917 (Taishō 6) and was compiled under the direction of Hashiguchi Goyō, with support from Kaburaki Kiyokata. Produced using traditional hand-printed woodblock techniques, the work also features attractive karazuri (blind embossing), adding subtle raised texture to selected details.
