Photographic work of Pop Art that transforms some of the most famous icons of pop culture into a scene that is ironic, irreverent and surprisingly human. The protagonists are depicted from behind, distant from the epic that made them legendary, giving life to an image capable of humorously overturning the very concept of heroism.

Through the contrast between symbols of the collective imagination and a deliberately desecrating situation, the work invites the viewer to smile and to look at contemporary myths from a completely new perspective. The result is an original composition, with a strong visual impact, that blends irony, pop culture and creative photography.

“Le Perle di Ské” is a family of self-taught artists specialized in the creative recuperation of objects and materials, which are given a new life through works inspired by contemporary culture, cinema and Pop Art. Each creation is born in their studio in Naples and is today collected across Europe.
