De Lussanet received his first painting lessons from his grandparents, painters in Laren. He studied with the expressionist Oskar Kokoschka at his 'Schule des Sehens' in Salzburg and then at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts in Antwerp. He worked a lot abroad, for a long time in Paris and often on the Côte d'Azur, but he returned to Laren in 2000.

This work is one of his highlights and very beautiful in color.

De Lussanet kreeg zijn eerste schilderlessen van zijn grootouders, kunstschilders te Laren. Hij studeerde bij de expressionist Oskar Kokoschka aan diens 'Schule des Sehens' te Salzburg en vervolgens aan het Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerpen. Hij werkte veel in het buitenland, lange tijd in Parijs en vaak aan de Côte d'Azur, maar keerde in 2000 weer terug naar Laren.
