The cap is made (top to bottom): a wooden ring inlaid with a copper coin that portrays Dante's portrait; small copper ring; large ivory resin band with mother-of-pearl effect; copper engraved ring Purgatorio; small resin ring with mother-of-pearl effect.
The Clip on a copper base depicts Dante's supposed dagger (in silver) kept in the Museo Casa Di Dante.
The body of the pen is made (top to bottom): brown resin grip with mother-of-pearl effect; copper ring; wood band; copper ring; brown resin ring with mother-of-pearl effect; large copper band depicting the Cornices where Purgatorio is divided; tip in brown resin with mother-of-pearl effect.
