Description from the seller
Sculpture "Okey Dokey" in an open edition, each piece unique thanks to its hand-painted finish.
Sculpture hand-signed 'Coco de Paris' and based on my painting "Okey Dokey".
International contemporary artist, Coco de Paris was born in the Netherlands and trained at the prestigious art schools of Antwerp and Brussels. Based in France for over 30 years, he has developed a distinctive body of work, immediately recognizable, at the crossroads of contemporary art, design, and visual culture.
International recognition
Coco de Paris's work extends far beyond the traditional gallery setting:
• Several of his works appear in the film Deep Water produced by 20th Century Fox, starring Ben Affleck
• He has collaborated with Marc Jacobs on an exclusive collection
• Gucci has acquired licensing rights to some of his works
• Géraldine Chaplin counts his creations among her inspirations
• Collaborations with international brands and institutions such as Joe Fresh, World Market, Cardinal Games, Nepia (Japan), FLOW Magazine or Lindner Hotels (Germany).
• Collaboration with Tim Zagat (founder of the Zagat guide): the creation of an illustrated alphabet of 26 animals and, for 2026, the release of two books: a book devoted to the legendary Parisian palace Le Bristol Paris and an artistic work titled Silly Words.
His work has been shown in numerous galleries and art fairs across Europe, such as the Affordable Art Fairs in Brussels and Amsterdam, selected for the MAC Paris show, Art Metz, and the art galleries Bernard Mourrier (Saint-Rémy-de-Provence), Carincotte (Marseille), Another Art (Belgium), Galerie Projection (Brussels), Galerie Radar (Bayeux), Galerie Cyane (Nancy), Galerie Marie Ricco (Calvi), Galerie Gour-beneforti (Bastia). His selection for the Chelsea International Art Competition in New York also confirms the international reach of his work.
Currently, Coco de Paris's work is permanently represented in France by the Art Sant Roch gallery in Céret.
His sculptures, made of resin, iron, wood, and ceramic paint, are hand-painted and testify to a constant quest for innovation and material.
The sculpture is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
