This specimen of Parker Lucky Curve True Blue, dating from the 1931–1932 transition period, is presented in an exceptional state of preservation within its category. It is a historic piece whose original True Blue celluloid in the cap and Amber Laminated celluloid in the body makes it a scarce variant, highly valued by Parker collectors from the pre-Vacumatic era.

The cap preserves the characteristic pearlescent blue celluloid with ivory-toned veining, typical of the original True Blue model. Its surface retains the shine and natural texture of the material without cracks or deformations, which is particularly noteworthy in pieces of this age. The clip stamped PARKER remains firm, well aligned and with minor but uniform wear on the gold plating, while the three gold rings stay intact and correctly seated in the cap’s structure.

The body, made of laminated amber celluloid, is equally well preserved. It features a deep luster and characteristic transparency, very well preserved, with no signs of crystallization or material deterioration. The Lucky Curve engraving is legible, a faithful testimony to an early production that is increasingly hard to find. The tail cap and the lever show natural aging of the metal, without affecting the mechanical integrity of the piece.

The 14-karat gold nib, engraved with the Parker brand, shows excellent structural integrity: the nibs are aligned, the tip is clean and without deformities, and the surface retains its original hue. But it is not original to the model. The ebonite feed, with its characteristic grooved structure, is complete and in very good condition. It’s a replacement nib from another Parker pen.

The button-fipo loading mechanism works correctly, with a firm lever and no play, indicating proper maintenance and responsible conservation over time. The cap and body threads operate smoothly and precisely, without excessive wear.
