Series number 49 on a print run of 150 copies — 2 in Arabic numerals and 30 in Roman numerals.
Sergio Tisselli was an Italian comics artist and illustrator, known for his painterly style, highly detailed and with a masterful use of color; his work is mainly devoted to historical comics. His first work, titled La costellazione del cane, dealt with the tragic plague that hit Bologna in the 1600s — a theme of his thesis in modern history.[3]
One of the key events in his career was meeting the master Magnus (Roberto Raviola). Magnus, recognizing his talent, entrusted him with the realization of Le avventure di Giuseppe Pignata, a historical setting work that Tisselli illustrated under the direct supervision of the master]
Besides Magnus, Sergio Tisselli collaborated with important Italian comic authors, including Claudio Nizzi with whom he created Il cacciatore di orchi. He also worked for Tex of Bonelli, producing Color Tex 8 (episode Sfida alla vecchia missione) and illustrated numerous short stories and historical volumes.
The album dimensions, delivered complete with its original case, are 30 X 40.5 cm
