Salvador Dali is an exclusive joint work by the French artists AIIROH and Jean-Michel Collell from 2023.
The large-format piece, measuring approximately 75 × 75 cm, features the world-renowned artist Salvador Dalí and combines the distinct artistic signatures of AIIROH and Collell in a modern mixed-media composition.
The foundation is a lithograph on high-quality fine-art paper with a weight of 300 g/m². The work was subsequently hand-edged with acrylic paint and enhanced with stencil techniques. Here, AIIROHs characteristic pop and street-art elements meet Collell’s distinctive approach to portraits and textures.
Salvador Dali is a true unique piece – Edition 1/1. There is only one exemplar of this edition. The work is signed by both artists and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
About the artists:
AIIROH was born in 1987 in southern France and has been drawing and painting since childhood. His long-standing experience as a graphic designer in France and Switzerland influences the clear and bold design of his works.
His works range between Pop Art, New Pop Art and Street Art. AIIROH focuses on pop culture, consumption and the visual impact of famous brands and symbols. He works with various techniques such as acrylic and spray paint, lithography, collage and stencils.
Jean-Michel Collell, born in 1968, is especially known for his extraordinary portrait works. He became known, among other things, for portraits made of wire mesh, where precise cuts and a subtractive working method create impressive effects of light, shadow and depth. This intense engagement with faces and structures also shapes his other works.
The collaboration of the two artists creates a bridge between two different artistic approaches. The portrait of Salvador Dalí is transferred into a contemporary context of Pop Art, Street Art and modern portraiture.
Through the uniqueness of 1/1, the signatures of both artists, the manual finishing, and the certificate of authenticity, this is a special joint work for collectors of contemporary Pop Art and Street Art.
The artwork is in excellent condition and, due to its format, will be rolled, carefully packaged and insured for shipping.
