Beautiful Montblanc Patron of Art "Hommage à Elizabeth I" 4810 from 2010 in a limited edition of 4,810 pieces to honor the legendary English sovereign. The body and cap in precious glossy black lacquer feature a wavy texture enriched with gold details that recall the sumptuous regal garments of the queen. The gold-plated finishes faithfully reproduce the historic embroideries of the book "The Glass of the Sinful Soul", a work hand-decorated by Elizabeth at the age of only eleven. On the cap stand the shields of the British crown and the Tudor rose, while the central band bears the famous governing motto of the monarch: "Video et taceo". The gold clip is embellished with a green cabochon-cut synthetic garnet, and the nib (M point, medium) in rhodium-coated 18-carat gold is decorated with a refined royal crown. The pen is in near-new condition, with a prestigious glossy wood box and documents.
