Original colour screen print 'Irinaland über dem Balkan 1971/1972' by Hundertwasser, a 31‑color Siebdruck (two phosphorescent) from the limited edition 1010/3000, 1971/72, mechanically numbered with a printer’s and embossing signature, not hand-signed, sheet ca. 67 × 49 cm, framed ca. 100 × 82 cm, origin Austria, sold by owner or reseller, condition: very good, frame included.
Description from the seller
A fascinating connection of face, landscape, and architecture: In “Irinaland über dem Balkan” luminous color fields, flowing lines, and fantastical onion domes merge into Hundertwasser’s unmistakable visual world.
Original color screen print from 1971/72 in 31 colors, of which two are phosphorescent, with metal embossings in five colors. Sheet 7 from the portfolio “Look at it on a Rainy Day,” printed at Dietz Offizin, Lengmoos, published by Ars Viva, Zurich, 1972. Catalogue raisonné: Koschatzky/Fürst HWG 50.
Copy 1010/3000, mechanically numbered, with print/emboss signature “Hundertwasser Regentag” as well as printer and publisher marks. Not hand-signed.
The generous framing with light matting and a dark frame with a gold-colored inner trim underscores the intense coloration. Back side with label from Kunsthaus Haenle.
Dimensions (Width × Height): Sheet approx. 67 × 49 cm; frame approx. 100 × 82 cm.
Condition: Sheet and frame in very good condition. The sheet is mounted in the matting as a loose floating sheet and shows a slight waviness. Please refer to the photos.
