Giuseppe Fortunato was born in Notaresco (TE) on November 5, 1956 and lives and works in Cingoli (MC). His artistic career began at a very young age, with his first solo exhibition at only 27 in 1983
In the 1980s he exhibited internationally, including Salle Roesselmann at Koifhus in Colmar, France in 1985, Barbican Art, London, at Expo Arte in Bari in 1988, where he also distinguished himself for a conceptual performance in which he crucified himself tied to a cross.
