Montblanc - Penna Stilografica Étoile de Montblanc - Fountain pen

Here we present one of the most elegant, sinuous and refined models ever created by the Hamburg manufactory, a true jewel of design: the Montblanc Étoile de Montblanc Fountain Pen.

Born to celebrate elegance and fluidity, the Étoile line stands out for its unmistakable silhouette, characterized by curved and ergonomic lines that fit perfectly in the hand. The body and cap are made of black glossy precious resin, highlighted by bright platinum-plated finishes. The clip features an elongated, enveloping teardrop design. The real masterpiece of this instrument lies at the top of the cap: a majestic domed cap, transparent inside, within which the Montblanc emblem floats (an exclusive detail that adds depth and catches the light from every angle).

The heart of the fountain pen is a magnificent 14-carat solid gold nib (Au 585) with a rhodium finish, handcrafted and decorated with the maison's stringent quality standards. As shown in the photos of the disassembled instrument, the pen uses a cartridge filling system, ensuring maximum cleanliness and practicality (or via converter, if compatible with this specific caliber). The serial number is regularly engraved on the clip ring.

The pen's condition is to be considered nearly new for the instrument. The resin displays a deep, pristine polish, free of scratches, cracks or chips. The platinum plating is bright and flawless. The nib is geometrically intact, with the tines perfectly aligned. In the name of your usual and rigorous transparency, however, it is appropriate to note that the original box “Étoile de Montblanc” shows evident external aesthetic defects: as clearly shown in the last two close-up photos, the faux-leather covering of the case shows deep scratches, dents and peeling. The pen housed inside, fortunately, remains impeccable.
