Description from the seller
Red Obsession is a contemporary photographic work that explores mystery, seduction and the tension between visibility and concealment.
In a dark and intimate atmosphere, the female silhouette appears as an almost enigmatic presence.
A intense red veil crosses her face, creating a strong and symbolic graphic rupture. The red becomes here a form of obsession: it draws the gaze, masks identity and introduces a sense of danger, desire and fascination.
The contrast between deep blacks, the delicate light on the body and the power of red gives the work a cinematographic and dramatic aesthetics.
The photograph invites the viewer to imagine what lies behind this apparent concealment.
