Item: BLACK MONTBLANC FOUNTAIN PEN with a gold clip and rings, screw-cap and gold nib
Reference / Edition: Montblanc No. 332 (3xx series piston-fill)
Length: 11.3 cm
Diameter: 1.1 cm
Nib: M
Period: 1940s–1950s (post-war 3xx series)
Materials: body and cap in glossy black resin/celluloid, gold trim (faceted clip and two rings at the cap mouth), gold nib engraved MONTBLANC, piston-filling system with knurled knob at the end of the body
Condition: good overall conservation for its age; shine preserved on body and cap, with no cracks or appreciable flaws. Micro-scratches of use scattered across the body and cap, slight wear of the gold plating on the clip and rings, and wear marks in the cap threading area. The nib appears intact and well aligned, with the vent hole and the two tines correct. The piston operation has not been tested in the photos
Accessories: only the loose piece; no box or papers visible in the photos
