Title: Golden Branch
Measurements: 60x50 cm
Year: 2024
Máté Nagy was born in Budapest in 1986. An oil painter of Hungarian origin, he develops a refined language that blends Byzantine, Art Nouveau, and Oriental decoration influences. His works depict elegant, silent female figures placed in precious compositions made of gold, deep blues, textured surfaces, and ornamental details. In his paintings, the portrait becomes a contemporary icon suspended between beauty, spirituality, and ancient memory. Today he lives and works between Budapest and Venice.
NB: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
