Title: Man of Smoke
Size: 70x50 cm
Year: 2023
Skedro is a contemporary artist whose research focuses on representing identity as a continually transforming process. Through fragmented faces, layered chromatic structures, and gestural, tactile painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be rebuilt, where sign, color, and matter intertwine to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never definitive, but always in flux.

NB: The artwork will be shipped in a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
