R. Kingmans’s wire sculpture titled “Appeal” is a hand-signed, limited edition (3/10) work in mixed technique using wood and polypropylene wires, measuring 428 × 328 mm, weighing 1680 g, created in 2026 and sold direct from the artist from the United Kingdom in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
No reserve. Signed 3 dimensional anamorphic wire sculpture "Appeal". The variable thickness of the 69 (purely white) individual wires creates the image. As you step away from the single viewing angle, the detailed image slowly deconstructs into an abstract arrangement of floating lines.
Edition: Limited original, 3/10, a certificate of authenticity is included.
Materials: Wood and polypropylene wires, an archival grade, strong type of plastic coated with a matte paper texture finish.
Please note that the buyer is responsible for any applicable VAT and customs duties. These are standard charges paid to your government for importing goods. UPS will automatically reach out to you directly to arrange these fees.
Shipping costs (which I pay to UPS for delivery) are completely free for you.
Tracked shipping within 3 working days, well packaged in two boxes.
Please be informed that very long delays can be expected at the customs in Carpi, Italy.
About the artist:
Formally trained at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and holding a BA (Hons) from UWE Bristol, Remco Kingmans is a Dutch artist working at the intersection of spatial structure and visual psychology.
Kingmans creates rare, multi-layered anamorphic 3D sculptures that explore the fragile nature of memory—the poignant reality that something can be deeply felt and present, even when it vanishes from sight. Using precise, suspended wire compositions and multi-dimensional frameworks, Kingmans’ sculptures demand an active viewer. From one exact vantage point, the chaotic lines coalesce into a striking, unified image. Yet, as you take a single step to the side, the image instantly dissolves—falling apart into abstract spatial geometry.
Artworks by Remco Kingmans are held in private collections worldwide, with pieces represented across Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Asia.
