Sailor - 1911 Large - Fountain pen

A fountain pen purchased on 10/12/2025, inked only once and used for a few test pages. Item still under warranty from the main Seller; complete with original packaging and all accessories and fold-out leaflets included in the box.

The Naginata Togi nib, 21-carat gold, was originally designed for writing kanji: holding the pen upright yields a thin stroke, while tilting the nib produces a wider and softer line. This particular grind, developed by master Nobuyoshi Nagahara, reproduces the flexibility and movement of a traditional brush.

In Western writing, the Naginata Togi proves surprisingly versatile: it varies the stroke thickness based on the writing angle, allowing the mark to be personalized with naturalness and fluidity.
