Montblanc Meisterstück Hommage à Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Platinum – rare complete set of 3 writing instruments – fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint – case, CD and documentation
Splendid and uncommon Montblanc Meisterstück Hommage à Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart set, composed of three coordinated writing instruments in the refined version with black resin and platinum finishes:
pencil pen? (Note: corrected below)

fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint pen.
The set is housed in the large Montblanc case dedicated to “Hommage à Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart” and also includes the original CD dedicated to Mozart, the related case and the period documentation visible in the photographs.
The fountain pen features a Au585 / 14 K gold nib, with rhodium finish, coherent with the Mozart Platinum line specifications. Montblanc indeed describes the Mozart Platinum collection as made in precious black resin, with platinum-plated details and the iconic white Montblanc emblem. Montblanc
The charm of the ensemble comes mainly from its completeness and coherence: finding individual Mozart pieces is relatively possible; decidedly less common is to encounter all three different writing systems together, preserved in their large dedicated case and accompanied by the original accessories.
The pens are presented in very good condition, with normal and limited signs compatible with age and preservation. The metal finishes retain excellent shine and the black resin appears glossy and well preserved. The case and the paper materials show instead some normal signs of time and storage, clearly documented in the photographs.
An especially interesting set for the Montblanc collector, both for the elegance of the Mozart series and for the difficulty of reconstructing today a complete set of fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint with original accessories (and refills) plus branded pouch.
Indicative appraisal of the entire set: €900.
