Guy Marineau was the photographer for all fashion shows, starting in the 1970s, for haute couture and notably for Yves Saint Laurent, then, in the 1980s, for the early showings of these young designers who turned that decade into a fireworks. He was a correspondent for Women's Wear and for Vogue US. A lover and reporter of parties, personalities and Parisian nightlife, which today accounts for a very beautiful collection of photographic archives spanning about thirty years, he was one of the very few photographers granted access at the Palace. He continues to cover the shows and fashion events."
