Ponte Sant’Angelo, Wrapped - Project for Rome

Offered is a newspaper double-page, hand-signed by Christo himself, from the magazine BILD - issue of 06.09.2011, which shows the artwork “Ponte Sant’Angelo, Wrapped.”

Christo presented, on the occasion of his visit to BILD in Berlin in September 2011, as part of the campaign “A Picture for BILD,” the original of the three-dimensional collage “Ponte Sant’Angelo, Wrapped.”
For the employees of Axel Springer he personally signed only 10 copies of this newspaper double-page.

The newspaper page shows very small age-related signs of wear (see photos).

Christo signed the page with a brown pencil, the signature is clearly visible and in stable condition. It has since been kept in a cardboard tube, protected from light.

You will receive:
- the hand-signed original newspaper page
- the documentation / printout of the inside.net article about the raffle as provenance
- on the back of the BILD issue from 04.09.2011 the accompanying article on the creation
