Description from the seller
Yayoi Kusama certainly needs no introduction: Kusama is one of the most important postwar and contemporary artists, with exhibitions all over the world. Her work is not only of historical importance, but also appeals to a young and broad audience and challenges art concepts like Minimal and Pop Art. Harrie Verstappen published photos in almost all Dutch newspapers and magazines and many international publications. He photographed rock groups such as The Golden Earring, The Kinks, and Frank Zappa. In the mid-1960s, he collaborated with the passionate Kusama and captured improvised and provocative actions. The collaboration did not remain limited to one-off actions: dotted with polka dots, dressed in her self-designed fashion, on the street and in the sex shop, in nature.
A new publication has just appeared, with text and photos by Harrie Verstappen, and an exclusive edition by the 0-institute: https://www.0-institute.info.
The artwork signed and numbered by Harrie Verstappen is a thermal inkjet print on high-quality photo paper. The signed and numbered (1/60) photo is shipped in a cardboard box.
