Description from the seller
Vintage Hofner 176 Galaxie (1960s) – Export Version – Made in Germany
To the call comes an absolute classic of European music history: an original Hofner Model 176 (on the international market usually referred to as Galaxie or Galaxy) from the glorious 1960s. This model was the undisputed top model among solidbody guitars from Hofner and stands as a prime example of the craftsmanship and experimental spirit of the golden vintage era.
This is the sought-after variant with the “Hofner” lettering without an umlaut, specially manufactured for the British and international export market. The guitar captivates with its massive double-cutaway body in the beautifully aged Redburst finish (Sunburst with strong red tones) and the distinctive, large white pickguard.
