Description:
Original print by the significant Deutsch-Französischer artist Johnny Friedlaender (1912–1992), one of the most important renewers of modern color aquatint in the 20th century. The work shows an abstract composition characteristic of Friedlaender, with fine linear structures, aquatint fields and calligraphic elements.
The print comes from a numbered edition of 153 copies and bears the artist’s handwritten pencil signature.
Notably, the sheet is preserved with its full original margins. It is not a trimmed impression and not presented behind a mat. The visible margins belong entirely to the original sheet and show the original plate impression of the print.
