'Now's the Time', cut from a large plywood disc, imitates a vinyl pressing of the eponymous album by jazz legend Charlie Parker.
Jean-Michel Basquiat paid tribute to the musician, who was also an uncompromising Black artist. Parker was recognized for his development of bebop, the modern jazz variant, characterized by refined technique and a fast tempo.
Never been framed and is kept in a dark archival storage between protective acid-free paper.
