Edition: 355/1000
The composition portrays the square linked to the Teatre-Museu Dalí in Figueres, treated with the swift and nervous drawing characteristic of Dalí. In the foreground appears a monumental sculptural figure, while in the background the architecture of the square unfolds with numerous small figures and equestrian references. A large circular form dominates the scene, and the graphic signature of Dalí appears next to the date 1977.
The sheet is an authorized reproduction made from the work Dalí created to illustrate Josep Pla’s book Obres de Museu. It was printed in Barcelona on Creysse de Guarro Casas paper, in a limited edition of 1,000 copies numbered for the whole world.
The edition statement itself specifies that these reproductions could not incorporate Salvador Dalí’s handwritten signature. Therefore, the signature that appears within the image should be considered reproduced/facsimile, not autographed.
