Giuseppe Fortunato, is a renowned contemporary artist whose career began early; his first overseas exhibition was in 1983 at the age of only 27.
A turning point in his career occurred in the 1980s with the Assempaforismo.
Towards the end of the 1980s, he created the IMAGES movement together with other Abruzzese artists.
In 2013 he founded the Giuseppe Fortunato Foundation, dedicated to archiving and sharing his artistic legacy.
