Kreidler Florett - KS53/1 NL, year of first registration 1966, in very good condition, with Dutch registration papers, located in the Netherlands, 18,518 km on the odometer.
Description from the seller
Very nice older concours-restoration Florett K53/1 from 1966 with 3-speed steering transmission. With a valid Dutch moped registration.
This Florett has been extensively restored about 20 years ago and is still in very neat condition. Invoices for the restoration are available, costs at the time around €2000, including engine overhaul. The current replacement value for insurance is still €10,000.
The paint is still in a very neat shiny condition. Here and there a small spot touched up. See the photos for this. The chrome work is neat.
The saddle, pedals and handlebars have all been replaced; the saddle is an original Denfeld leather seat. The tires have also been replaced and are still good.
The spoked wheels are fitted with stainless steel spokes, as are the mudguards.
The engine runs very nicely, the Kreidler brakes well and the 3x manually shifted gearbox shifts well. A possible video can be requested via Catawiki.
After restoration the steering lock has never been reinstalled, but a new one with keys is included with the scooter. Also included is a folder with all invoices, some spare parts and a period-correct mudguard.
This Kreidler has been stored dry in a private collection in recent years, and is now for sale.
I think the photos speak for themselves, but I still advise you to come and view before bidding. This to avoid disappointment later. You can arrange this via Catawiki.
This Kreidler is located in Middelburg, Netherlands. By appointment it can be viewed there and collected if desired. The license plate can be exported at cost if needed. I can also help you arrange transport within Europe.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
