Traveling, searching, and describing through his etchings. That is what Montyn has always done. Wars in distant regions such as Koerland and Korea. Travels to Morocco, southern France, the Sahara and especially Asia, where he again finds himself in war zones. This time not as a soldier, but in Vietnam as a supervisor of transports with child refugees and later he stays in Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge. This latter experience would, years later, become the inspiration for the "Roumpha" series. Also the travels through Thailand, Japan, Laos, the Philippines and Indonesia form over the years the foundation and inspiration for a fantastic graphic œuvre.
