Aurora - No reserve price - Pen

The Aurora Hastil fountain pen is a masterpiece of Italian industrial design, designed by Marco Zanuso in 1970 and exhibited in the MoMA New York permanent collection for its revolutionary and slender cylindrical line. The model of this pen bears the inscription DEC 339 indicating the license/registration of the manufacturing patent with the Ministry or the metrico office, typical of Aurora models produced during the 1970s and 1980s. Black satin finish, catalogued as Matte Black or Satin Lacquer, very elegant. The nib is original in 14K/585 gold, filling with standard Aurora cartridges. Moreover the pen is a Hastil NOS (New Old Stock), coming from the warehouse stock of the stationery shop Il Miraggio, viale Gorizia 2 Milan, in business from early 1976 until mid-1995.
