Alphonse Mucha was a Czech painter, illustrator and graphic designer who primarily worked in Paris, France.
For financial reasons, Mucha began designing posters and eventually established himself as a poster designer known for his pronounced stylized and decorative designs.
Mucha created this poster of a woman in a green-orange, embellished outfit for Moët & Chandon, a French wine house founded in 1743 by Claude Moët.
