The Hagstrom HJ800 Vintage Sunburst is a premium hollow-body jazz guitar. The model is based on the original designs by guitar builder Jimmy D'Aquisto from the 1970s. The guitar is known for its warm, expressive jazz and blues tones, combined with modern stability.
Main Specifications
Top: Solid spruce wood, pressure-shaped.
Body: 5-layer Canadian maple.
Neck: North American hard maple, glued.
Fingerboard: Resinator wood composite for even tones and sustain.
Neck reinforcement: H-Expander for an extremely stable neck construction.
Hardware: 2x Custom 58 humbuckers for a vintage tonal character.
Scale: 25 inches (635 mm) with 21 frets.
Bridge: Ebony Jimmy bridge with a trapeze tailpiece.

The guitar delivers acoustic resonance through its solid spruce top, ideal for traditional jazz, fusion, and sultry blues. Thanks to the Resinator fingerboard, the instrument responds quickly and eliminates dead spots that can occur with traditional wooden fretboards. The Vintage Sunburst finish additionally gives the guitar a classic, timeless look.
