Description from the seller

Original vintage black-and-white press photograph of Malcolm McLaren, photographed by renowned British photographer Adrian Boot.

This historic portrait was taken in 1977 on the steps of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Paris.

The photograph shows Malcolm McLaren, the influential manager of the Sex Pistols, opening his tartan shirt to reveal the now-iconic "LESBIAN" T-shirt. The shirt was designed by Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood and sold through their legendary London boutique SEX (later known as Seditionaries).
Created as a provocative statement challenging the social conventions of the late 1970s, the "LESBIAN" shirt has become one of the defining garments of punk fashion history.

This is an original vintage press photograph, hand-signed by Adrian Boot on the front and featuring the original Adrian Boot copyright credit sticker.
Not a modern reproduction.
