Description from the seller
Daniela Pareschi – "Li ho stesi"
Original sketch on 300 g cardboard.
dimensions: 30 x 40 cm including a 2.5 cm mat border
Acrylic and pencil
The work is part of the series "Supereroi in crisi" (Superheroes in Crisis), consisting of twelve subjects, each dedicated to a different superhero, told away from their heroic dimension and faced with everyday situations.
In “Li ho stesi,” small superheroes have literally laid out their costumes at the window: a visual and ironical play that transforms the superhero’s imagery into a domestic scene.
This sketch is the original from which one of the series’ subjects was born.
