Description from the seller
1938ca TABO TRASPARENTE with Blue Transparent Celluloid in Excellent + Conditions
Stunning TABO Trasparente (means TAntini BOlogna) with an incredible blue ringed on a clear yellow base celluloid!
The company was founded in 1919. According to the records of the Bologna Chamber of Commerce, the business began as "Stiassi e Tantini" on December 17, 1919, established by Giuseppe Tantini and Giorgio Stiassi to trade in stationery and writing paper.
The TABO brand appeared later, towards the end of the 1930s. In 1938, the two partners founded a new company, S.I.S.A. (*Società Italiana Stilografiche e Affini*), which was renamed F.I.S.A. around 1940; it was from this entity that the production of Tabo-branded pens originated. Prior to TABO, the company had used the "The Scotland" brand, dating back to 1920.
The quality of the pen is very high as you could see from the pics this pen is the real competitor of Omas Lucens series.
