Bernard Buffet (1928-1999) and Jean Cocteau (1889-1963).
LA VOIX HUMAINE, 1957.
One of the 22 drypoints in the highly sought-after book published in Paris by Groupe Parenthèses in 1957.
In-folio, 45.5 x 44.5 cm.
Richard de Bas Auvergne paper.
Edition of 150 copies. Our etching, the last of the twenty-two drypoints. Unsigned or numbered copy on the justification page, most likely an unjustified author's proof.
All the etchings in the print run contain text by Jean Cocteau.
The drypoint is well preserved, with a tear in the text visible in the photographs.
